Performing on authentic Caribbean steel drums hand-crafted from actual 55 gallon oil drums, PanTropix – a 3 piece steel drum band based in Sharon, Pennsylvania – is as unique as it is entertaining. Always pleasing to the senses and never uncomfortably loud, the beautiful sounds of authentic steel drums transport a listener to a relaxing, tropical paradise allowing them to cast away the stresses of daily life. PanTropix performs a variety of repertoire comprised of many traditional calypso and soca tunes native to the Caribbean islands, as well as many contemporary and popular songs easily recognizable to the average listener. Our musical influences range from Jimmy Buffett to Antonio Carlos Jobim, The Drifters to Bob Marley, Van Morrison to Harry Belafonte, and everyone in between.

Brianne
Lead Vocals
As a classically trained vocalist with an extensive musical theatre résumé, Bri (pronounced bree) has enjoyed an active performance schedule as both a soloist and ensemble member since before she can remember. Having been selected as a finalist for numerous vocal competitions and auditions at the national level, Bri has collaborated with members of the Boston Pops Orchestra and the United State Army Field Band. Equally comfortable fronting a hard rock band as she is singing the lead role in an opera, it did not take long for Bri to feel at home in her new role as the front woman of PanTropix. Between shows, Bri enjoys teaching many young voice and piano students, as well as her church choir which she has directed for over 15 years. Bri holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Youngstown State University and serves as the Assistant Director of Choirs at Thiel College in Greenville, PA.
